(C) On April 22 Ambassador passed ref A points to UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan who expressed no objection to sharing UAE's private endorsement with the other government in the region that has privately endorsed PSI (Oman) and with other interested Gulf countries in order to build confidence in PSI. Half jokingly, AbZ asked that information about UAE endorsement not be shared with Iran. He also took a copy of points as a non-paper. ¶2. (C) Also on April 22 DCM passed same points to MFA Director of European, American and Oceanian Affairs Ali Al Zarouni who inquired about the next PSI meeting and whether UAE could attend and at what level. He was informed that the next meeting would be in June and that Washington would ask Poland to invite the UAE. SISON
