1. (U) This message is sensitive but unclassified.
2. (SBU) Embassy Vienna conveyed reftel points to the
Austrian MFA Human Rights Bureau on March 1. EconPolOff
followed up on March 2 with Dr. Ingrid Pech, a director in
the bureau whose portfolio covers human cloning. Dr. Pech
said that the GOA still supports the declaration and will
vote in favor of it in the General Assembly. She added that
she was not aware of any proposed amendments.
