(SBU) In accordance with ref A, Embassy Legal Counselor exchanged diplomatic notes on May 3, 2005, concluding an exercise specific status of forces agreement with the Netherlands to provide privileges and immunities for U.S. forces in Aruba and the Netherlands Antilles. The agreement entered into force on May 3, 2005, and tracks the text provided in Ref C as revised in accordance with ref B. The diplomatic notes were exchanged at the MFA with the Senior Legal Officer of the MFA Legal Affairs Department's Treaty Office. ¶2. (U) The original Dutch note and a certified copy of the U.S. note in reply, which constitute the agreement, are being sent to L/T Daphne Cook. SOBEL
