Minister of Industry and Trade Irving Guerrero on September
9. In the midst of a domestic energy crises (reftel B),
Guerrero accepted the information but spent more time
discussing his country's internal response to the price
shocks.
2. Guerrero specifically asked for information on port
conditions on the U.S. Gulf Coast and how that might affect
future fuel shipments to Honduras. Post would welcome any
additional information on the current condition of Gulf
Coast petroleum terminals and other ports that could affect
refined products exports to Honduras or the region.
