HUMAN RIGHTS RESOLUTIONS

The Ambassador delivered ref b demarche regarding Third
Committee human rights resolutions to Foreign Ministry
Director General Carlos Portales on December 12. The
Ambassador thanked Portales for the GOC's support and asked
Chile to adopt a similar position during the plenary vote.
Portales acknowledged Chile's support and indicated the GOC
would maintain its current position.
