SUBJECT: PRESIDENT SALEH REQUESTS ACCESS TO BETHESDA NAVAL
MEDICAL CENTER
President Saleh recently requested post's assistance to
schedule a standard physical exam at the Bethesda Naval
Medical Center during his upcoming visit to Washington. The
Republic of Yemen Government will pay all related costs.
Post requests Department assistance in arranging an
appointment on November 11. Yemen is a key partner in the
GWOT and allowing Saleh access to Bethsda will contribute
positively to our bilateral relationship.
