Members in attendance were AMB, DCM, MO, RSO, POLM, OMC, DAO, POLE, PD, CONS, LEGATT, AID, FPD and CCE. 2.(S/NF) EAC discussed RefTel A which concerned the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between State and DoD concerning security of DoD personnel in foreign areas. Points in annexes A and B were clarified from the previous year MOA concerning which DoD office at post FPD reports to, and an acronym change. EAC unanimously approved the changes and the document was sent to the COM for final review. ¶3. CONS advised he would reach out and check on the status of the CTW. ¶4. (S/NF) AMB canvassed the EAC for any popular reaction to misinformation concerning the desecration of Taliban bodies by US servicemen in Afghanistan. EAC reported no reaction in Sanaa so far. The EAC advised that contacts in the ROYG had not raised the matter so far either. EAC members agreed to report any new information as it comes in. ¶5.
