¶1. (S) Poloff delivered reftel on isolating Syria at the
UNGA to DFM Mustafa Noman on September 5. Noman responded
that it was "politically impossible" to refuse if SARG
requested a meeting, but would encourage more "transparency
and cooperation" on Iraq and Lebanon.
