During a December 12 phone conversation, the Ambassador raised with FM Prince Saud Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud SAG support to Iraqi victims of terrorist attacks. The FM reiterated SAG support for these victims, but stated that the SAG prefers to reopen the Saudi hospital in Iraq, rather than bring them to the KSA for treatment. The FM indicated he would wait for a USG response. The FM did not address when the SAG would establish a fund for the families of victims of suicide attacks in Iraq. GFOELLER
