Human Rights Officer Carmen Larrea on April 26. PolOff
emphasized Carozza's impressive background and experience in
human rights legal work in Latin America. Larrea thanked us
for the information and said she considered the nominee an
excellent candidate with an impressive background. She will
make the appropriate office aware of Carozza's qualifications
and let us know once a decision is taken. Comment: With new
leadership, the MFA's senior ranks are in turmoil, delaying
decisions at all levels.
