SUBJECT: PRAGUE -- YEAR 2005 COMPLIANCE CERTIFICATION



1. (U) Per the regulations in 6 FAM 0521.2-1, the
Ambassador has chosen an Embassy officer as his personnel
representative to serve on our Employee Association in
Prague. Management Officer Amy Hyatt fulfilled this role
until her departure from post on June 10. Acting Management
Officer Robert Bare is NOW filling in until the arrival of
incoming Management Officer Martin Hohe on August 26, 2005.


2. (U) As the principal officer's designee of the United
States Embassy in Prague, I have taken the necessary measures
to ensure that our Employee Association in Prague is managed
prudently and is in full compliance with its charter and
bylaws, 6 FAM 500 regulations, and the legal requirements of
the Czech Republic. I also assure you that an adequate
system of internal controls to protect the assets of the
Association and the interests of the U.S. government is in
place and functioning, and that all reporting requirements to
include financial statements, an annual audit report and post
profiles are submitted to A/OPR/CR in a timely manner.
