On March 3, PolOff delivered reftel demarche to MFA
International Organizations Director Nubia Lezcano,
emphasizing the importance of voting against any proposed
amendments to the draft resolution on human cloning. Lezcano
said that she would contact GOP PermRep Arias in New York to
discuss demarche talking points, and that GOP support for the
Costa Rican draft resolution had not changed.
