DESIGNATION OF HIG TO TAKE EFFECT JUNE 27

(S) Reftel reported that domestic designation of HIG under
the criminal code could occur as early as June 24. Foreign
Affairs Canada has informed us that they plan to delay
publication of the listing until Monday, June 27, to provide
the USG a full two weeks from today to pursue our
investigation and analysis of the case.
