¶1. PolMilOff delivered reftel demarche seeking support for
the US resolution on compliance in the UNGA First Committee
to MEA Under Secretary, Disarmament and International
Security, Nutan Kapoor on September 27. Kapoor had no
substantive comment.
¶2. EmbOffs also delivered the demarche to MEA's UN and
Americas divisions. Post will continue to follow up with GOI
officials to solicit their support for the resolution.
