B. Underage marriage is not known to be a significant
phenomenon in Oman. There are no limits for the age of
marriage. Although not unheard of, it is uncommon for
children to marry before the age of eighteen. In addition,
the free and easy access to education in Oman ensures that
all but a few children complete secondary schooling.


C. There are currently no USG-funded initiatives in Oman
that address the issue of child marriage. It is unlikely that
any programs would be needed.
