SUBJECT: Human Rights Day 2005 Plans
On December 9, Ambassador will co-host with the EU Heads of
Mission a "Human Rights Day" round table discussion with
local human rights activists. The U.S and U.K. ambassadors
will deliver remarks on the promotion of human rights in
Belarus, and together with the other EU ambassadors engage
in an informal discussion with the local activists.
Independent media services will cover the event.
