Al Umran told PolEcon chief that he would pass the information to the international organization affairs office for consideration, but stated that Bahrain tried to support the United States whenever it could. He said he would get back to us with a more formal response. Shaikh Daij and Humood were aware of the nomination but offered no substantive response. MONROE
