(C) The Ambassador November 2 delivered reftel demarche concerning increased contributions for Pakistan earthquake relief to Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa. Shaikh Khalid said that in addition to the $3 million in emergency supplies Bahrain is sending to Pakistan via the Red Crescent Society (Ref B),the GOB is in direct conversation with the Pakistani government about building either a school or a health clinic. The Pakistani government will soon identify an appropriate village where the facility will be built. MONROE
