On July 18, poloff delivered the talking points in reftel to
Cecilia Contreras, Deputy Director of the Foreign Ministry's
International Organizations Section. On July 25, poloff
delivered the three draft U.N. resolutions in reftel to
Contreras. Contreras stated that the GON would carefully
study the USG position and draft resolutions on the UN
Peacebuilding Commission. Post will forward the Department
any additional commentary or statement of position received
from the GON.
