¶1. Embassy welcomes and grants country clearance to
Assistant Secretary John Shaw, Andrew Patterson and Steven
Cary, U.S. Department of Energy, to travel to Madrid, Almeria
and Barcelona, September 12-17, to visit nuclear facilities
and meet with Government of Spain officials.
¶2. As per ref. cable, EconOff Ken Forder is control officer
for this visit. He will meet and assist during this trip.
¶3. Hotel reservations in Madrid and Barcelona have been made
as requested in ref. cable.
