Alvarez advised Econoff that reftel points would be passed directly to the Spanish Customs Director General. On June 21, Econoff followed up on reftel points with Alvarez. Alvarez said that Spain would support the proposed WCO Framework and that the Spanish Customs Director General had replied directly to the US Customs Director General via letter.
