(U) The Slovene Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) confirmed 21 November to Econoff that Slovenia would support the U.S. candidacy for re-election to category "A" in the IMO Council. Slovenia will be represented at the IMO Assembly by Iztok Mirosic (head of the delegation and Slovene Ambassador to the United Kingdom),Bojan Skoda (deputy of the delegation and Economic Counselor at the Slovene Embassy in London),and Ales Zabukovec (counselor from the Slovene Ministry of Transportation).
