(SBU) During a December 14 meeting, the Ambassador restated
to Foreign Minister Shaykh Dr. Mohammed Al-Sabah Al-Salem
Al-Sabah the U.S. position that Al-Manar incites terrorism
and should be immediately removed from ARABSAT. He informed
the FM that the matter had been previously raised with the
Ministers of Communication and Information, as well as with
Acting MFA Undersecretary Khalid Al-Babtain (refs A-C). The
FM promised to look into the issue.
