The Kuwaiti National Assembly did not/not vote on the GOK's
$500 million Katrina aid package during its regularly
scheduled sessions on November 28 and 29, despite MPs'
previous suggestions the issue would be addressed (reftel).
Debate over the National Assembly's response to the annual
Amiri Speech and a proposal to increase teachers' salaries
dominated the two parliamentary sessions.
