CDA met with Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Undersecretary Khaled Al-Jarallah July 12 to discuss reftel
demarche. Al-Jarallah said that he had not heard of
Mauritania's military assistance request prior to CDA's
briefing. At this point, Al-Jarallah reported, the GOK had no
position on the matter.
