(SBU) Ambassador raised on April 17 with Ministry of Foreign
Affairs Under Secretary Khaled Al-Jarallah the emergency
appeals from the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for
Palestine Refugees (UNRWA). Al-Jarallah noted the GOK's
contributions to the UNRWA regular budget and said if
approached by the UN, Kuwait would have "no problem" in
responding to the appeal.
