Janina Hasenson, counselor in the Unit for Human Rights and Acting UNCHR Coordinator, told Poloff that her understanding was that the EU would co-sponsor the Belarus resolution. Finland would support this EU common position. She said that she was unaware of what changes (if any) the EU might suggest to the draft resolution, but that she did not believe Finland would recommend any changes to the draft. MACK
