1. Dr. Klaus Stohr, Team Coordinator, WHO Global Influenza
Programme, Department for Communicable Disease Surveillance
and Response, will represent the World Health Organization at
the Senior Officials Meeting. Stohr's DOB is 3 January 1959.
He will travel on UN Laissez-passer No. SA61578, valid until
10 January 2007. He can be reached by telephone at
41-22-791-3004 or by email at stohrk@who.int. Stohr will
arrive Washington on October 7 from a previously scheduled
commitment in San Francisco in time to arrive at the
Department by 8:15 a.m.
2. Stohr understands he will represent WHO on the panel and
working group dealing with Preparedness, Planning and
Outreach and will also participate in plenary discussions on
prevention and response/containment as well.
