On July 28, Acting DCM delivered reftel talking points to DFA
Deputy Political Director Colm O'Floinn and Director, Human
Rights Unit Eamonn MacAodh. The Ambassador will raise with
top Irish officials next week, and has convened a working
group with PAO and POL/ECON to evaluate our long-term
strategy. PAO currently is working on sending a respected
Irish journalist to Guantanamo, and regularly provides
information to the media.
