On July 18, Emboff delivered reftel points and background
paper to Department of Foreign Affairs UN/International
Terrorism and Illicit Drugs section Third Secretary Eoin
Duggan. Duggan said the GOI had no knowledge of Movement for
Islamic Reform in Arabia (MIRA) connections to Ireland and
will forward background information to Central Bank and
Departments of Justice and Finance officials for reference.
