Stanley said that Ireland is likely to co-sponsor the Commission on Human Rights (CHR) Resolution on Cuba, but has not made a final decision. She said that Ireland is waiting for further progress in EU discussions on the Resolution. She noted that the EU is divided, with some Member States favoring the pursuit of a joint position and others debating ways to strengthen the Resolution text. BENTON
