(S) On December 28, Emboff delivered reftel points to
Department of Foreign Affairs UN/International Terrorism and
Illicit Drugs section First Secretary Maurice Bigger. Bigger
said the GOI had no knowledge of any activities or
connections to Ireland of the terrorist group LET under the
name Jamaat ul Dawa, as mentioned in reftel. He added that
he will forward background information to the Central Bank
and Departments of Justice and Finance officials for
reference.
