1. On April 22, Poloff delivered reftel points to Human
Rights Department and Latin American Division at the MFA.
Officials stated Slovakia would fully support the elections
standards initiative.
2. Comment: Concept paper also delivered to relevant Slovak
NGOs. Slovak NGOs have been extremely active in developing
democracies in Central Europe and now have begun cooperation
with Iraqi NGOs.
