Internacional INS No. 012/2005. Itaipu Binacional
is the organization in charge of the joint Brazilian-
Paraguayan Itaipu hydroelectric dam. Foreign
bidders must participate only through their duly
registered local agents or representatives. Tender
specifications cost Guaranies 120,000. The present
free floating exchange rate is approximately
Guaranies 6,220 per U.S. Dollar. To purchase tender
specifications, interested parties must submit a
note on company letterhead, including name and
address of the firm's authorized agent in Paraguay,
to the Itaipu Binacional address in Asuncion,
