(C) Poloff informed Eihab Omaish, Acting Director of the
Foreign Minster's Private Office, on September 7 that an
Administrative Review Board (ARB) at Guantanamo Bay recently
determined there was a need for the continued USG detention
of Jordanian national Ahmed Hassan Jamil Suleyman (ref A).
Omaish replied that he would inform all relevant persons of
the decision. Poloff also delivered ref B press release and
talking points to Omaish regarding changes to U.S. military
commission procedures.
