SUBJECT: JORDAN FORMALLY AGREES TO JOIN FOUNDATION FOR THE
FUTURE
Planning Minister Suhayr al-Ali informed Charge on September
8 that Jordan's cabinet has agreed to join the Foundation for
the Future and to contribute $1 million. Based on an
understanding that no decision has been made on a location
for the Foundation's headquarters, the Government of Jordan
asks that Amman be considered.
