(C) In a June 8 meeting, FM Qasrawi asked Charge for U.S.
assistance in obtaining additional information regarding
Jordanian detainee Khalid Mahomoud Abdul Wahab Al Asmr (ISN
US9JO-000589DP). In a separate meeting, Walid Obeidat of the
Foreign Minister's private office commented that the FM is
extremely interested in finalizing this matter, and would be
able to do so more quickly if provided with the following
information on the detainee:

able to do so more quickly if provided with the following
information on the detainee: 1) place and date of birth; 2)
national ID number (if any);
identification document(s) (if any),and mother's maiden
name. Comment: Part of the GOJ interagency community may be
questioning whether or not the detainee is a Jordanian
citizen (as opposed to a stateless Palestinian, for example);
the information requested would resolve this issue for the
GOJ.
