Poloff delivered reftel demarche points to Walid Obeidat in
the Foreign Minister's Private Office on April 14. He
promised to convey the information to the appropriate offices
as well as to Foreign Minister Qasrawi. On April 18 Obeidat
informed poloff that the points had been shared with the
MFA's International Organizations and European and American
Affairs Departments. He said that the Ministry of Political
Development (now part of the Deputy Prime Minister's
portfolio) is also involved. He said that he would advise us
of Jordan's plans regarding the Community of Democracies
ministerial once a decision is taken.
