1. The Embassy received via diplomatic note a letter to the
Secretary of Transportation entitled "Designation of UAE
SIPDIS
Airlines- Etihad Airways."
2. Begin text:
Dear Sir,
We wish to intimate that the UAE national airline, 'Etihad
Airways' is hereby designated in accordance with Article 3 of
the Air Services Agreement signed between the UAE and the USA
on 11th March 2002, for the purpose of conducting the
operation of agreed services on the specified routes.
