He stated that because of strong economic ties with Iran, Armenia may vote for the "no action" motion if offered on the Iranian resolution. Mkrtumian said, however, that his government would be quite likely to abstain or vote against a "no action" motion in the case of the Turkmenistan resolution. EVANS
