1. (S) As requested, post delivered on December 14 reftel
points and information concerning the USG intention to
designate Khadafi Abubaker Janjalani under E.O. 13224 and to
seek UN designation through the UN 1267 Sanctions Committee
to Wouter Jurgens, Senior Policy Officer responsible for
terrorist financing issues in the Political Affairs
Department of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Post
conveyed the points the same day to Margreet Wenting, Senior
Policy Advisor in the Department of Financial Integrity at
the Dutch Ministry of Finance. Both noted that the GONL
would follow the EU lead concerning any designation decision.

actions taken.
