Peter Ramaer (MFA Deputy Director of UN affairs) thanked
Poloff for ref points and CV for Tom Repasch's candidacy to
the Joint Staff Pension Committee when delivered on October
29. He said it had been his understanding that WEOG in New
York had agreed a clean slate of candidates (agreement dated
October 26, New York),with Kuntzle of Germany and Repasch of
the U.S. listed for the subject posts. As this should mean
these two are effectively elected, he was puzzled why reftel
characterized the election as contested. Poloff agreed to
provide further information about the elections should that
be necessary.
