(SBU) As requested reftel, post delivered the CIRA points on July 14 to Margreet Wenting, Senior Policy Advisor in the Department of Financial Integrity at the Ministry of Finance (MOF). Post also delivered the points on July 15 to Alle Dorhout, who has the lead on EU designation issues in the Directorate for European Integration within the Department of External Policy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA). ¶2. (SBU) Wenting said the MOF would pass the information to the Dutch Central Bank, banking directors and the Dutch financial intelligence unit, noting that the GONL would follow the EU lead concerning any designation decision. Dorhout said he would forward the information to Stefan van Wersch, Dutch Chairman of the EU Clearing House. Dorhout suggested, however, that any successful discussion of this issue in the Clearing House would require a joint UK-Irish request for a meeting on the organization and the aliases. RUSSEL
