Rodriguez will be a member of Spain's delegation to the June 14-18 IAEA boarding meeting. Rodriguez said that Spain favored: encouraging states to sign and ratify the IAEA Additional Protocol; creating a Special Committee on Safeguards; and prohibiting states under investigation for proliferation violations from serving on the Board of Governors.
