Carranza stated that the GOG will support all the resolutions discussed in reftel and would oppose any retaliatory resolutions presented by the Government of Belarus against the USG. Though Guatemala usually avoids co-sponsoring resolutions in the UNGA, Carranza indicated that the GOG would be willing to consider co-sponsoring the resolution on Iran if the Canadian Government approached the MFA directly.
