O'Regan said that Ireland supports the UN Human rights resolutions in the UNGA plenary. Following the lead of the EU presidency, which, on December 8, encouraged member states to lobby for support, the GOI asked its embassies worldwide to lobby countries that voted no or abstained, to support the resolutions. O'Regan also said that the GOI is not pleased with the use of no action motions, and that Ireland is doing all it can to garner support, but is limited by its low number of worldwide missions. KENNY
