Further, we are unaware of any Al Haramain financing activities among Muslim groups in either country. Both Sri Lanka and Maldives are vigilant against Islamic extremist elements. The GORM in particular takes a very firm, negative line against any potentially disruptive fundamentalist Islamic activities.
