1. (S) PolMilOff followed up on ref a demarche Aug. 18 with
MFA Iraq Chief of Desk Mehmet Kemal Bozay. Bozay reported
that the GOT has agreed to raise concerns about Syria's
behavior vis-a-vis Iraq with the SARG, but will do so at a
senior level and as part of a package of other issues in the
bilateral relationship.
