Acting PolCouns delivered reftel demarche and diplomatic note
October 13 to Ashraf Zeitoon, Acting Deputy Director of the
Foreign Minister's Private Office. Zeitoon gave no
substantive response regarding Judge Meron's candidacy for
the ICTY, but promised to pass the information to relevant
officials in the MFA, as well as to the Jordanian UN Mission
in New York.
