1. (SBU) Charge reviewed reftel points July 29 with Foreign
Minister Marwan Muasher. (A separate demarche will be
delivered August 1 to the GOJ's Director for Palestinian
Affairs, currently out of the country, and reported septel.)
Muasher agreed on the need to consult closely on candidates,
and asked if the U.S. could provide ideas on names.
2. (SBU) Post would appreciate any information in response
to Muasher's request.
